Paid Media & Ads Intelligence — Aramya (aramya.in)
Brand: Aramya (DSLR Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) | Category: Women's Ethnic Wear D2C | Market: India Collection date: 2026-08-18 | Sources: Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency Center, public web search
1. Snapshot
Aramya runs a high-intensity, always-on paid program that is materially larger than a typical single-brand D2C advertiser — confirmed directly, not inferred. We observed ~910 results in Meta's Ad Library (active + historical) and ~500 ads in Google's Ads Transparency Center pointed at aramya.in across three verified advertiser accounts (the brand's own DSLR Technologies account, an agency/partner account "ANVIS Digital Pvt Ltd", and one YouTube creator). On the collection date, 80 concurrently-active Meta ads were live, all started between 10 July and 9 August 2026 — a median run length of roughly 3–4 weeks and still running, which is a reliable signal the campaigns are profitable and continuously refreshed.
The archetype is a performance-led direct-response advertiser with a maturing full-funnel layer: a heavy offer-and-COD conversion engine, a real creator/influencer + DM-based conversational-commerce funnel, and a genuinely local Bengaluru store-ad program. The headline finding: Aramya is over-indexed on Meta and acquisition volume, under-indexed on national regional-language reach, UPI/EMI payment levers, and app/WhatsApp retention creative — concrete opportunities covered in Section 7.
Note on spend: Meta and Google do not publish advertiser spend. Aramya showed no cumulative-spend figure in either library on the collection date, so every rupee number below is a directional estimate built from ad volume, not a measured figure. The existence, copy, and scale of the ads are directly observed (high confidence); the rupee spend is an estimate (medium confidence).
Estimated monthly paid media (directional): ~₹40–90 lakh/month, Meta-dominant, with a meaningful and previously-unconfirmed Google presence layered on top. (This Google layer corrects an earlier "not confirmed" note in the business analysis — it is now confirmed.)
2. Creative Strategy
Across the 80 live Meta ads sampled, the portfolio splits cleanly by hook and funnel stage:
| Hook type | Share of sampled ads | What it looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Offer-led | ~59% | "M to 10XL Size Kurta Sets @70% off", "Starting at ₹599", "Pure Cotton Bottoms under ₹400", "Cash on Delivery | Easy Returns" |
| Feature / fit-spec | ~24% | "Buy Bottom size different from Kurta size", "Zero Shrinkage / No See-through", store-location ads with hours |
| Social proof / UGC | ~11% | Creator reels (prakriti.sengupta, jivansh_mumma, Ishikapanwar, Shreya Sharma), "celebrity-approved" floral set |
| Aspirational / lifestyle | ~6% | Mint-green Tavira festive set, "soft cotton green set made for travel" |
Funnel-stage distribution: BOFU ~59% · MOFU ~20% · TOFU ~20%. This is a full-funnel portfolio with a clear performance bias — the brand does not live on offers alone, but offers are the workhorse.
Copy framework: overwhelmingly benefits-led (comfort, fit, price, trust) rather than feature-listing. The recurring structure is a tight emoji-stacked hook → size/price/fabric proof points → CTA.
CTA patterns (sampled):
- Shop / Shop Now / See Details — direct purchase on offer-led ads.
- Learn more — exclusively on the 13 Bengaluru store-location ads (local footfall driver).
- DM funnels — "Comment LINK / GOLD / FLORAL / BOTTOM / GREEN to get the direct link in your DMs" on aspirational and fit-confidence ads. This is a deliberate conversational-commerce layer (WhatsApp/Messenger), not a fallback.
Representative creative angles (described, not quoted):
- The value workhorse — 70%-off kurta sets, XS–10XL, mix-and-match sizing, COD, "Premium fabric / Comfortable Fit / No see-through." Runs in 2–10 concurrent variants.
- The fit-confidence play — "every bottom has a hidden 1.5-inch extra fold so you add length without a tailor"; handles the #1 ethnic-wear return driver (size/fit) inside the ad.
- The festive sub-brand — "Tavira by Aramya" mint-green suit set, soft aspirational framing, DM link.
- The local store ad — per-location Bengaluru creative with address, landmark, and opening hours; CTA "Learn more."
- The creator reel — micro-influencers showing outfits and listing product codes to search at aramya.in.
3. Offer & Testing Patterns
Offer architecture: Discounts are sitewide / category-led, not new-customer-gated:
- Primary hook: "@70% off" on kurta sets (the dominant offer).
- Sub-offers: "Bottoms under ₹400" (category-specific), "Starting at ₹599" (anchor price).
- Framing leans on trust overlays (COD, Easy Returns, Zero Shrinkage, No See-through) more than on rupee discounts alone.
Discount trend: Across the Jul–Aug 2026 window the offer depth is stable, not escalating — the same "70% off / ₹599" message appears in ads started 10 Jul, 24 Jul, and 9 Aug. No evidence of margin-pressure discount creep; this reads as a consistent everyday-low-value positioning rather than a promo spiral.
Testing sophistication: structured (mature). Ads routinely carry "This ad has multiple versions" or "X ads use this creative and text." In the sample, ~39% of ads ran 3+ concurrent live variants (observed peaks: 10, 10, 8, 8, 8). Combined with weekly new-design launches (per business analysis), this is a real test-and-scale operation, not set-and-forget — a sign of funded, disciplined performance marketing.
4. Paid Search Presence
| Layer | Finding | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| Observed (Google ATC) | Active Google paid ads confirmed for aramya.in — Search text ("Shop Pure Cotton Kurtas"), Shopping, Display, and YouTube video formats; one retail/store ad ("Visit our stores…"). | High (direct) |
| Observed (organic dominance) | Aramya ranks #1–5 organically for brand+category terms — "cotton kurta sets online", "pure cotton kurta sets for women", "aramya size inclusive ethnic wear XS to 10XL" — and owns its collection URLs. Strong organic footprint suggests Google Search is used to defend/extend, not to establish. | Medium (web_search) |
| Estimated (SpyFu/SimilarWeb) | Not collected this session — free tiers were unusable for the domain. No modeled keyword counts to report. | n/a |
| Category baseline (fallback) | Fashion/apparel D2C CPC benchmark: non-brand ₹5–25, branded ₹2–8. Framed as market context only, not Aramya-specific. | Low |
A live Google SERP spot-check was blocked by CAPTCHA, so specific paid keyword slots could not be confirmed manually — but the Google Ads Transparency Center independently confirms active Google paid presence, which is the higher-confidence signal.
5. Country-Market Adaptation (India)
Tier: Strong in home market, partial nationally.
- Payment-flexibility messaging — present, but narrow. Cash on Delivery + Easy Returns is featured in the majority of ads (~59% of sampled) as a trust/reassurance lever — appropriate for an audience that skews to first-time ethnic-wear online buyers. However, no UPI cashback, no-cost-EMI, or prepaid-incentive messaging was observed anywhere — the brand leaves the COD-cost / RTO-reduction lever (prepaid nudges) entirely unused in ad copy.
- Regional-language reach — limited. Explicit Kannada-language store ads exist for Brookefield, Commercial Street, and Electronic City (deliberate Bengaluru-local targeting — a genuine strength). But there is no Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or other regional creative, despite planned FOCO franchise expansion to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. Tier-2/3 ethnic-wear demand is strong nationally; the creative is metro/English-and-Kannada only.
- RTO-consciousness signals — present (indirect). Fit/quality copy ("No see-through", "Zero Shrinkage", "Buy different sizes for top and bottom") and COD framing act as indirect return-reduction signals. Actual RTO rate is not derivable from public sources.
- Festival-calendar structure — inconclusive. The collection window (Jul–Aug 2026) only spans a slice of the year; the "Tavira by Aramya" festive sub-brand and mint-green festive creative imply coordinated festival pushes are part of the plan, but we cannot confirm a full structured calendar (Diwali/Navratri/Rakhi spikes) from this window.
6. Ad-to-Landing-Page Message Match
This section is the direct bridge into the CRO / landing-page audit — weak matches below are concrete, evidence-backed conversion leaks.
We reviewed 10 representative ads (prioritizing highest-volume, highest-longevity, and most recent). Overall: ~5 strong, ~4 partial, ~1 weak match.
- Engineered-strong matches: DM-funnel ads ("Comment LINK/GOLD/FLORAL/BOTTOM") and store-location "Learn more" ads resolve to the exact product or store — strong copy, visual, and (where applicable) offer continuity by design.
- Recurring partial leaks:
- Product-code creator ads (e.g., "Search TP1454T at aramya.in") force the user to copy a code and manually search the site — no deep link. Visual continuity breaks and friction is added at the exact moment of intent. Weak-match example.
- 70%-off offer-led ads that may land on a generic homepage rather than the on-sale collection — the "70% off" depth isn't immediately visible (a generic-homepage risk already noted in the quality audit). Offer is honored sitewide (so offer_match stays strong), but copy/visual continuity is partial.
- Kannada store ads that likely resolve to English-only landing pages — content matches, language continuity breaks for Kannada-first viewers.
Actionable CRO read: replace manual product-code search with deep links in creator ads, and ensure every 70%-off/₹599 ad lands on a collection page that surfaces the offer above the fold.
7. Whitespace & Recommendations
The most actionable gaps — named, not generic:
- Turn on UPI / prepaid incentives. No UPI cashback or prepaid discount observed. A small "extra 5% off on prepaid / UPI" line would directly attack COD-related RTO cost without hurting the trust message.
- Add no-cost-EMI / BNPL on festive & saree ranges. Tavira sets and sarees (₹1,499–₹3,999) are the natural AOV-lift candidates; EMI messaging is absent today.
- Scale regional-language creative beyond Kannada. Build Hindi/Tamil/Telugu variants to match the Hyderabad/Ahmedabad/Chennai/Mumbai FOCO rollout — tier-2/3 ethnic-wear demand is exactly where language-localized creative pays off.
- Deep-link creator ads. Swap manual "search this code" for direct product/deeplink URLs (or a one-tap link in bio / WhatsApp) — removes the single biggest conversion leak in the creator funnel.
- Add app-install + WhatsApp-community retention creative. The brand states iOS/Android apps and a WhatsApp community as retention channels, but sampled paid social shows no app-install or community-join creative. Paid acquisition should feed owned retention.
- Coordinate a visible festival paid calendar. The Tavira sub-brand is the vehicle; a structured Diwali/Navratri/Rakhi paid push (vs. flat year-round value messaging) is the clearest seasonal upside.
- Fix landing-page continuity for offer ads (see Section 6) — land 70%-off traffic on the sale collection, not the homepage.
8. Methodology Note
Data collected 2026-08-18 from public sources only: Meta Ad Library (keyword "Aramya", country = India, active ads — first ~80 of ~910 results sampled), Google Ads Transparency Center (domain aramya.in, region India — ~500 ads across three verified advertiser accounts), and public web search for organic ranking. Ad existence, copy, CTAs, start dates, concurrent-variant counts, and Google advertiser identities are directly observed (high confidence). Spend rupee figures are estimated proxies derived from ad volume and category CPM assumptions — not platform-reported, and Meta/Google publish no advertiser spend. Paid-search keyword specifics are unconfirmed (live SERP was CAPTCHA-gated; Google ATC independently confirms active Google paid presence). Full per-ad records and computed distributions are in the companion ad-intelligence.json.
Limitations: A brand running ads under a sub-brand, agency, or different legal entity may not surface under every name search; here the Google layer confirmed an agency account (ANVIS Digital) and a creator account that a brand-name-only Meta search would miss — reinforcing that connected client ad accounts would give verified, complete spend and targeting data.
