Wanderlooms — Master CRO & Conversion Rate Optimization Audit

Synthesized from live page-level audits (homepage, PLP, PDP, cart/checkout, support & utility) plus business-analysis.md and web-quality-audit.md. Prepared 2026-08-13. Audience: ~89% mobile, ad-funded, discount-led Indian D2C adventure/motorcycle-lifestyle apparel brand.

1. Executive Summary (SCQA Format)

Situation: Wanderlooms is a fundamentally healthy, well-merchandised Shopify D2C store with genuine brand strengths — a 4.4/5 rating across 4,410+ Judge.me reviews, a real Shark Tank S4 halo, strong community co-branding (Indimotard, Fast Indian, Turbocharged, Bigrock), a live loyalty program ("Brotherhood Miles"), and rich, trust-heavy product pages (size charts, reviews with AI summaries, "Shop With Confidence" strip). The catalog spans 199 SKUs at a mass-to-mid price ladder (₹49–₹2,999, median ₹799).

Complication: Two classes of problem are quietly leaking revenue. (1) Technical/mobile: the store is JS- and video-bloated — lab LCP on mobile is ~25.8s and the homepage never reaches idle; CrUX flags mobile LCP "needs improvement" (≈2.2–3.1s), and ~89% of traffic is phone-first. (2) Friction/structural: the add-to-cart → cart-feedback layer is broken in material ways — the PLP inline "Add to Cart" does not register at all, and a Yotpo cart drawer (closed shadow DOM, unsynced to Shopify) shows "Your Cart is Empty" even when items exist. Combined with store-wide missing filters/sort, broken discount messaging, inconsistent delivery/refund promises, and a wrong WhatsApp number, the path from interest to purchase is rougher than the strong product pages suggest.

Question: What must be fixed first to convert the brand's considerable top-of-funnel (Shark Tank + always-on Meta/Google ads at ~₹2.25–8L/month) into purchases rather than bounces?

Answer: Fix trust and friction at the exact conversion moment first (PLP inline-add bug, dual unsynced cart surfaces, consistent discount + delivery messaging), then reduce mobile load and rebuild discovery (filters/sort, breadcrumbs, lead capture). The brand's product pages and trust assets are already strong; the leak is in the connective tissue between discovery and checkout, plus mobile performance.

Overall CRO Score: 5.4 / 10. (See §12 for the category breakdown.)

Estimated revenue impact if top issues are fixed: The PLP inline-add failure alone blocks an unknown but material share of category-page conversions on a 199-SKU store. Conservatively, resolving the Critical add-to-cart/cart-feedback defects + adding filters/sort + a mobile performance pass could lift overall D2C conversion from an estimated ~1.5–2.5% (fashion benchmark) toward the 3–4% range, and the discount-consistency + lead-capture work could add 5–15% AOV/repeat upside. At an estimated ~₹4–15 lakh GMV/month D2C (business-analysis estimate), this represents a plausible +₹1–4 lakh/month incremental run-rate once the Critical items ship — detailed modeling in §11.

2. Funnel Analysis

Funnel: Visit → Browse/Category → Product Page → Add to Cart → Checkout → Purchase → Repeat

StageBenchmark (B2C/Fashion)Observed / InferredStatusPrimary Drop-off Drivers
Homepage → Category40–60%Not measured (no analytics access). Strong merchandising, but no above-fold primary CTA and heavy payloadLikely adequate, mobile-riskMobile LCP; no hero CTA button
Category → Product30–50%PLP strong cards, but NO filter/sort to narrow 199 SKUsAt risk on large collectionsMissing filters/sort (Critical); no breadcrumb
Product → Add to Cart8–12%PDP rich; PLP inline-add FAILS; PDP add works but feedback brokenBelow benchmark on PLPPLP inline-add broken; unclear cart feedback
Cart → Checkout45–55%Cart drawer is Yotpo closed shadow DOM, unsynced, shows "Empty"Unverified / at riskDual unsynced cart; possible double-add confusion
Checkout → Purchase50–65%Checkout behind GoKwik iframe, unreadable hereUNVERIFIEDGoKwik gate, payment methods, guest flow unknown
Purchase → RepeatLoyalty live ("Brotherhood Miles") but under-explained/under-promoted; no email captureUnder-builtNo lead capture; loyalty not surfaced

Blocked arteries (high-traffic, underperforming):

  • The PLP → Add-to-Cart path on a 199-product catalog with no filters: high traffic, but inline-add is broken and discovery is manual.
  • The Add-to-Cart → Cart-feedback moment across the whole store: the single highest-intent micro-conversion, currently contradictory.

Missing links (absent funnel stages):

  • No email/lead capture anywhere (homepage, support pages, blog) — top-of-funnel acquisition leak for an ad-funded, 89%-mobile brand.
  • No surfaced filters/sort — a missing discovery stage on collections.
  • Loyalty surfaced but not promoted — Repeat stage exists but is under-realized.

3. Per-Page Reviews

3.1 Homepage

What's Working

  • Clear value proposition via hero imagery + rotating promo bar (discounts, free shipping, prepaid extra 5%).
  • Strong trust inventory: live Judge.me ratings on cards, a "from 4,029 reviews" testimonial carousel, a real "Featured In" press wall, community/partner co-branding in nav, secure-payment and shipping-partner badges, and a Shark Tank halo.
  • Logical information architecture (hero → bestsellers → press → category tabs → video → reviews → footer).

Opportunity Areas

  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: The only <h1> elements on the page are 13+ duplicated announcement-bar promo strings; the hero communicates via image only with no semantic heading. Possible impact: Weakens SEO keyword signal and screen-reader experience on the brand's highest-traffic page. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — a theme/liquid change demoting promo strings to <div>/<p> and adding one real <h1>.
  • Category B — Strategy-Dependent Choice. Observation: The announcement bar advertises FLAT 10%/15% (₹1999/₹2999) but the cart drawer also shows FLAT 20% ABOVE ₹3999, which the homepage never surfaces. Possible impact: Missed AOV uplift and a slightly confusing promo story. Confidence: Significant Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: There is no email/lead-capture form or entry popup on the homepage. Possible impact: Leaks top-of-funnel for an ad-funded, 89%-mobile brand with no retargeting-list growth. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes (Klaviyo/Shopify form + popup).
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Heavy above-the-fold payload (8 hero images + GIF + 9.2 MB autoplay video) against a CrUX "needs improvement" LCP at ~89% phone traffic. Possible impact: Mobile bounce and lost conversions at the exact traffic majority. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — lazy-load video, preload/format hero image.
  • Category B — Strategic Consideration. Observation: Two "ChatGPT_Image_…" AI-generated press logos sit alongside real mastheads (Business Insider, YourStory) in the "Featured In" wall. Possible impact: Could dilute genuine press credibility if perceived as fake. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — remove/keep only verified mastheads.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Logo image has empty alt; no explicit above-fold primary CTA button. Possible impact: Minor a11y/SEO miss; slightly weaker immediate conversion path. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Trivial/Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.

3.2 Product Listing Page (PLP)

What's Working

  • Clean, image-led 4-column grid (2-column on phones) with rich cards: live star rating + review count, compare-at strikethrough + %OFF badge, inline size selector, inline Add-to-Cart, wishlist. Consistent card anatomy and working pagination/scroll-append.

Opportunity Areas

  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: There is no filter UI anywhere — zero <select>/<details>/Filter button/facet form on either a 9-product or 199-product collection; Shopify's faceted backend is functional (verified: ?sort_by=price-ascending re-ordered correctly) but the theme does not render controls. Possible impact: Shoppers cannot narrow 199 products by size/color/price/availability — a severe discovery blocker, especially on mobile (89% traffic). Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium (Search & Discovery app or theme setting). Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: There is no sort UI (backend honors ?sort_by=, but no control is exposed). Possible impact: Removes a key deal-finding/merchandising lever. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low–Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No breadcrumb and no visible collection heading (category name lives only in a banner image alt); all product card images have empty alt (consistent with the homepage dup-H1 issue). Possible impact: Weak orientation for deep-linked/mobile users; a11y/SEO weakness. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Several jerseys show L/XL/2XL/3XL as disabled with no low-stock/restock messaging. Possible impact: Users may assume the product is unavailable overall; missed scarcity lever. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction (carried from cart audit). Observation: The PLP inline "Add to Cart" does not register — clicking it (size selected) leaves header cart at (0) and opens a Yotpo "Empty" drawer; reproduced on two products. Possible impact: Direct revenue leak at the category page; shoppers assume failure and bounce. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity (Critical severity per source). Effort to Fix: Low–Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — root-cause the grid-atc-form handler.

3.3 Product Detail Page (PDP)

What's Working

  • A strong, conversion-oriented template that beats the PLP on trust: a real <h1>, Judge.me rating + review count + AI "Customers say" summary with sort/filter/photo-video upload, compare-at + %OFF + "Inclusive of all taxes," a working SIZE CHART modal with full measurements (excellent fit-anxiety reducer), quantity stepper, prominent ADD TO CART / BUY NOW, a "Shop With Confidence" trust strip (Shark Tank, Google, COD, 3L+ customers), three info accordions, a FAQ block, a Yotpo sticky buy-bar, and a "You Might Also Like" carousel.

Opportunity Areas

  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: ADD TO CART opened a Yotpo Rewards drawer reading "Your Cart is Empty"; header stayed (0) in the captured state, no Shopify mini-cart or success toast observed. (Cart audit confirms the PDP add does succeed server-side — header 0→1→2 — but the visible feedback is contradictory.) Possible impact: If a shopper sees "Empty" after adding, they may assume failure, bounce, or double-add. Confidence: Significant Opportunity (behavior real; server-state confirmed by cart audit). Effort to Fix: Low–Medium (QA + route fix). Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No breadcrumb/"you are here" on either PDP (consistent store-wide gap). Possible impact: Disorientation for 89%-mobile/deep-linked traffic. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category B — Strategy-Dependent Choice. Observation: The same three promo codes render 6× in the buy box, and the ₹3999/20% tier is hidden from PDP/announcement but shown in cart. Possible impact: Clutter crowds the CTA; under-communicated top tier. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No stock/low-stock/restock messaging on PDP; size radios show no per-size availability. Possible impact: No urgency/scarcity lever; possible "OOS = gone" assumption. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low–Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction (apparel segment). Observation: Gallery is product-only (7 identical-angle shots, single colorway) — no model/lifestyle imagery, no video, no 360°; no SKU surfaced; FAQ is generic (no product-specific Q&A). Possible impact: For fit-impulse apparel, lack of "worn" proof weakens visual confidence; can raise fit-related returns. Confidence: Significant Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium (photography/content). Realistic for Brand?: Yes — phased content production.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Key buy-box info (returns, shipping EDD) lives below the fold in collapsed accordions; no PIN/zip delivery-date estimator in the buy zone. Possible impact: Major objections (returns, delivery timing) not visible at the decision point. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Duplicate promo <h1>s + 17 empty-alt images (trust/icon/promo) on PDP. Possible impact: Diluted heading hierarchy; a11y/SEO weakness. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.

3.4 Cart & Checkout

What's Working

  • Discount auto-apply works: cart subtotal math confirms ADV-10 applied (₹2,198 → ₹1,978 = −10%). PDPs present clear payment trust (UPI, Visa/MC, Net Banking, COD, "Extra 5% on prepaid"). BUY NOW reaches a checkout entry.

Opportunity Areas

  • Category A — Objective Friction (Critical). Observation: PLP inline Add-to-Cart does not register (see §3.2); the PDP add succeeds but the post-add surface (Yotpo <shop-cart-sync> closed shadow DOM) is not synced to Shopify's real cart and can show "Your Cart is Empty" while items exist. Two cart UIs coexist (Shopify header count vs Yotpo drawer). Possible impact: Contradictory feedback at the conversion moment; potential double-adds and bounces. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — pick one authoritative cart surface.
  • Category A — Objective Friction (Major). Observation: Cart drawer line-items, empty-state recovery, upsells, shipping calc, and the entire checkout form render inside closed shadow DOM / a GoKwik iframe and could not be verified in this headless environment. Guest-checkout availability, payment methods, and any COD handling fee are unverified. Possible impact: Cannot confirm the highest-leverage page (checkout) is friction-free; a GoKwik KwikPass gate may sit in front of guest flow. Confidence: Significant Opportunity (must QA on real device). Effort to Fix: Medium (QA). Realistic for Brand?: Yes — real-browser QA pass.
  • Category B — Strategy-Dependent Choice. Observation: Discount UX is inconsistent — ADV-10 auto-applies in cart yet PDP presents codes as "Apply at checkout"; ADV-20 tier hidden on PDP/announcement. Possible impact: Confusion; possible double-count risk; missed AOV. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No delivery-date / shipping estimator anywhere in cart (only "5–7 days" in FAQ accordion); no free-shipping progress bar. Possible impact: Delivery hesitation at the decision point. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No breadcrumb on cart/checkout (carried store-wide). Possible impact: Disorientation in a high-anxiety flow. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.

3.5 Search & Navigation

What's Working

  • Mega-menu with expandable sub-drawers covering apparel, accessories, official merchandise, and steal-deals; header predictive search drawer; skip-to-content link present; logo, search, cart, account all present.

Opportunity Areas

  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No in-collection filter/sort (see §3.2); no breadcrumb anywhere; collection pages have 52 <h1> and 0 <h2> (no hierarchy). Possible impact: Discovery and orientation friction across the store. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium/Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category B — Strategic Consideration. Observation: 52 duplicate collections exist (t-shirts/t-shirts_1/all-t-shirts×2, etc.) creating near-identical PLPs competing for the same queries; one empty collection. Possible impact: Crawl-budget dilution and internal ranking competition (SEO, not direct CRO, but affects discovery). Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — consolidate to one canonical collection per product_type.

3.6 Policy & Support Pages

What's Working

  • Return Prime self-service portal works (order lookup without emailing); Customization page is a solid B2B lead-capture surface ("Trusted by 100+ riding clubs"); Contact page has phone, hours, and hCaptcha; policy pages are legally complete; loyalty "Brotherhood Miles" is confirmed live.

Opportunity Areas

  • Category A — Objective Friction (Critical). Observation: The Contact page's WhatsApp deep-link dials +91 98930 51711 while the printed/called number everywhere else is +91 9993201711 — two different "contact us" numbers. Possible impact: Customers tapping WhatsApp reach a different number — a broken-contact trust hit. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low (one-line fix). Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction (Major). Observation: Delivery-time promise is inconsistent across three surfaces — FAQ "4–7 working days," Contact "pandemic two weeks," Shipping policy silent. Refund method/timing conflicts (Return policy 48h store-credit vs Cancellation 5–7 days to source). Company address mismatch (Privacy "Polekar Niwas, Bopodi" vs footer/Return "Platinum 9, Baner"). Possible impact: Erodes the very trust the brand has built; contradictory promises at the decision point. Confidence: High Confidence Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low–Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes — one source of truth.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Multiple unedited template artifacts — Privacy "Mobile: +919***1711" (masked placeholder never filled), Terms "thejudicial courts located in [blank]," "Any use of of the content," "permission form the publisher," Contact "we will send you a notifications," FAQ text-smash. Possible impact: Looks unfinished; undermines polish/trust. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?:* Yes.
  • Category B — Strategy-Dependent Choice. Observation: Loyalty is live but under-explained (no tiers/redemption page) and under-promoted (not surfaced on homepage/FAQ/policies); "50 POINTS IN QUEUE FOR LAST ORDER" shows to a guest. Possible impact: A real LTV lever under-realized. Confidence: Significant Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low–Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: No email/lead capture on any support page; About/FAQ/Blog/policy pages are dead-ends with no "Shop/Explore" CTA; Blog is dormant (5/6 posts from 2020, zero shoppable links). Possible impact: Top-of-funnel leak; missed SEO/shoppable asset. Confidence: Significant Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Medium. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: FAQ has no search/accordion/categories and omits the highest-friction objections (returns, sizing/resize, warranty, COD-credit, loyalty). Possible impact: Pre-checkout hesitations unaddressed. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.
  • Category A — Objective Friction. Observation: Bond & Beyond bundle builder lacks a stated incentive (what's the reward for filling the box vs buying individually?). Possible impact: Weakens a strong Shark Tank tie-in landing. Confidence: Moderate Opportunity. Effort to Fix: Low. Realistic for Brand?: Yes.

5. Persuasion Assets Audit

Credentials & Authority — Strong. Shark Tank S4 (Namita Thapar + Ritesh Agarwal), "Featured In" press wall (Business Insider, YourStory, etc.), founder rider authenticity, community co-branding with riding clans, "Trusted by 3L+ customers" / "100+ riding clubs." Gap: About page is brand-romance only (no founder story, trust pillars, team/workshop images); two AI-generated press logos weaken the wall; privacy policy still cites outdated UK Data Protection Act 1998.

Social Proof — Strong. 4.4/5 across 4,410+ reviews; per-card ratings + counts; testimonial carousel; UGC photo/video uploads; "Customers say" AI summary. Gap: No model/lifestyle UGC on PDPs; loyalty "50 points in queue" placeholder shown to guests.

Risk Reversal — Adequate, below the fold. 7-day return, free first exchange, ₹100 reverse fee, COD, clear non-returnable list — but buried in accordions; no surfaced "No Questions Asked"/"100% Insured" icon in the buy zone. Gap: Key risk-reversal not visible at decision point.

Data & Specificity — Moderate. Discount tiers, delivery windows, review aggregates present. Gap: No delivery-date specificity (PIN estimator), no SKU, no size-level stock data.

Asset Acquisition Wishlist (action plan):

  1. Model-wearing + lifestyle photography and a short product video / 360° per hero SKU (reduces fit returns, strengthens apparel proof).
  2. A loyalty explainer page (tiers, points→₹ conversion, redemption) + cross-promo on homepage/FAQ.
  3. One canonical delivery promise + a PIN-based EDD estimator asset.
  4. Remove AI-generated press logos; replace with verified mastheads only.
  5. Revive the blog as shoppable buying guides (ring/size, jersey care) with product embeds — an SEO + conversion asset.
  6. FAQPage + LocalBusiness + BreadcrumbList schema (currently missing) to capture rich results.

6. Friction Audit (Fogg B = MAP: Prompt → Ability → Motivation)

Friction TypeFindingSeverityQuick Win?
Physical (Ability)Mobile LCP ~25.8s lab / "needs improvement" field; 9.2 MB autoplay video; 44s main-thread workHigh ConfidencePartial (lazy-load video, preload hero)

Cognitive (Ability)No delivery-date estimator; key returns info below foldModerateYes
Emotional (Motivation)Wrong WhatsApp number; contradictory trust signals at decision pointHigh ConfidenceYes (one-line)
Emotional (Motivation)No risk-reversal icons in buy zone; under-explained loyaltyModerateYes

Most conversion problems here sit in Ability (mobile speed, broken add-to-cart, missing discovery controls) — consistent with the Fogg diagnostic that Ability, not Motivation, is usually the lever. The brand's Motivation assets (trust, community, discounts) are already strong.

7. Bugs & Structural Anomalies

  • PLP inline Add-to-Cart does not register (header stays 0; Yotpo "Empty" drawer opens). Reproduced on two products. [Critical]
  • Dual, unsynced cart surfaces — Shopify real cart (header count) vs Yotpo <shop-cart-sync> closed shadow DOM drawer showing "Empty" when items exist. [Critical]
  • Wrong WhatsApp number — Contact page dials +91 98930 51711 vs printed +91 9993201711. [Critical trust bug]
  • 52 <h1> elements per page (promo strings as headings); collection pages 52 H1 / 0 H2 — destroyed document outline. [A11y/SEO]
  • Checkout/cart render in unreadable closed shadow DOM + GoKwik iframe — line items, empty-state, and checkout fields unverified; must be QA'd on a real device. [Major, verification gap]
  • Cross-page conflicts — delivery time (FAQ 4–7d / Contact "pandemic two weeks" / Shipping silent), refund method (48h store-credit vs 5–7d source), company address (Bopodi vs Baner). [Major trust]
  • Template artifacts — Privacy "Mobile: +919****1711" placeholder, Terms missing jurisdiction city, several typos. [Polish/trust]
  • No email/lead capture anywhere; Blog dead-end/dormant; About page dead-end. [Acquisition leak]
  • Console errorsERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID on first-party levo-ingest.wanderlooms.com (orphaned beacon); 401 on yourtoken coupon API. [Best-Practices]
  • Notification permission requested on page load (Wigzo) — intrusive UX + Best-Practices fail. [UX]
  • No store locator / standalone loyalty page (loyalty is widget-only). [Feature gap, not a 404]

8. Quick Wins (Ranked by Impact/Ease — implement in 1–3 business days)

  1. Fix the WhatsApp number (+91 98930 51711 → 919993201711). One-line. Highest trust impact. [Low / High Confidence]
  2. Root-cause PLP inline Add-to-Cart (grid-atc-form not posting to Shopify /cart/add). Revenue-blocking. [Low–Med / High Confidence]
  3. Demote promo strings from <h1> to <div>/<p>; add one real keyword <h1> per template. [Low / High Confidence]
  4. Reconcile cross-page promises (delivery time, refund method, company address) into one source of truth. [Low–Med / High Confidence]
  5. Clean template artifacts (Privacy phone, Terms jurisdiction, typos). [Low / Moderate]
  6. Unify discount messaging — surface ADV-20 (₹3999+) everywhere; say "You saved 10%" not "Apply at checkout." [Low / Moderate]
  7. Add store-wide breadcrumbs (Home / Apparels / Riding Jerseys / Product). [Low / High Confidence]
  8. Add alt to logo + 17 missing images; fix MRP price contrast (#868282 → ≥4.5:1). [Low / Moderate]
  9. Remove notification permission on load (Wigzo); remove AI-generated press logos. [Low / Moderate]
  10. Add a one-line returns + delivery EDD teaser near PDP/cart CTAs; state the Bond & Beyond incentive on its landing. [Low / Moderate]

10. A/B Testing Roadmap

Hypotheses use "If we [X], then [Y] will improve because [Z]." Priority: P0 = implement without testing (clear fixes), P1 = test first, P2 = when capacity allows.

#HypothesisICE (I/C/E)Primary MetricPriority
1If we fix the PLP inline-add handler and route post-add feedback to the Shopify mini-cart (showing item+size+price, header count ++), then PLP→cart rate will rise because the current "Empty" drawer makes adds look failed.10/9/7PLP→cart rate; inline-add successP0
2If we add faceted filters + sort (size/price/availability) with a mobile bottom-sheet, then PLP→PDP CTR and revenue/PLP-session will rise because 199 SKUs are currently un-narrowable.9/9/6PLP→PDP CTR; filter usageP1
3If we lazy-load the hero video + preload/AVIF the first slide + defer 3P widgets, then mobile LCP and bounce rate will improve because the homepage never idles on phones.9/8/6Mobile LCP; bounceP1
4If we surface all three discount tiers consistently and show "You saved X%" in-cart, then AOV and ₹3999+ order share will rise because the top tier is currently hidden.7/8/8AOV; tier-3 shareP1
5If we add a PIN-based delivery-date estimator + a one-line returns teaser in the buy box, then cart→checkout rate will rise because delivery/timing objections are answered at decision point.7/7/7Cart→checkout rateP1
6If we add an email-capture popup (e.g., 10% off) synced to Klaviyo, then email capture rate and repeat purchase will rise because there is zero lead capture today.8/7/7Email capture rate; repeat %P1
7If we add model-worn/lifestyle imagery + a product video to hero PDPs, then PDP→cart and fit-related return rate will improve because apparel buyers need "worn" proof.8/7/5PDP→cart; return rateP2
8If we launch a loyalty explainer page + cross-promo "Brotherhood Miles," then member vs non-member LTV will rise because the program is live but under-explained.7/7/6Member LTV; enrollmentsP2

11. Revenue Impact Estimate

Assumptions stated explicitly (see §15). Current-state D2C GMV estimated ~₹4–15 lakh/month (business-analysis, inferred). Estimated D2C conversion ~1.5–2.5% (fashion benchmark); AOV ~₹800–1,500.

Conservative scenario (fix Critical + discount consistency + lead capture):

  • PLP inline-add fix recovers a portion of category-page drops → +0.3–0.6 pp conversion.
  • Discount-tier unification + auto-apply clarity → +3–6% AOV.
  • Email capture (10% popup) → +5–10% repeat contribution over a quarter.
  • Net: +₹0.8–2.0 lakh/month incremental D2C run-rate.

Optimistic scenario (add filters/sort + mobile performance + loyalty surfacing):

  • Filters/sort + mobile LCP fix → +0.5–1.0 pp conversion and materially lower paid-bounce waste.
  • Loyalty surfacing → +8–15% repeat LTV.
  • Net: +₹2–4 lakh/month incremental D2C run-rate, with compounding repeat revenue.

These are directional ranges grounded in benchmark lifts, not measured before/after. They should be validated against Shopify Analytics once instrumentation (§14) is in place.

13. Recommendations Summary

Immediate (This Week) — Critical fixes & bugs

  • Fix the PLP inline Add-to-Cart handler (root-cause grid-atc-form).
  • Resolve the dual unsynced cart: pick one authoritative surface; ensure clear "Added!" feedback + header increment.
  • Fix the WhatsApp number (+91 98930 51711 → 919993201711).
  • Demote promo strings from <h1>; add one real <h1> per page.
  • Reconcile delivery/refund/address promises to one source of truth; clean template artifacts.
  • Lazy-load the 9.2 MB hero video; remove notification prompt on load.

Short-Term (This Month) — High-impact improvements

  • Add faceted filters + sort (Shopify Search & Discovery) with a mobile bottom-sheet.
  • Add store-wide breadcrumbs + visible collection <h1>.
  • Unify discount messaging (surface ADV-20; "You saved 10%" not "Apply at checkout").
  • Add email/lead capture (popup + footer) synced to Klaviyo.
  • Launch a loyalty explainer + cross-promote "Brotherhood Miles."
  • Add PIN-based delivery-date estimator + returns teaser in buy box/cart.
  • QA the full GoKwik/checkout path on a real device (guest flow, payment methods, COD fee).

Medium-Term (This Quarter) — Structural changes

  • Mobile performance pass: preload/AVIF first hero slide, defer GoKwik/GTM/Wigzo/yourtoken widgets, purge unused CSS/JS.
  • Add model-worn/lifestyle imagery + product video/360° to hero PDPs.
  • Expand FAQ (returns/sizing/warranty/COD-credit/loyalty) with search/accordion; add FAQPage + LocalBusiness + BreadcrumbList schema.
  • Consolidate duplicate collections; noindex empty ones; add meta/keyword titles to collection + blog landings.
  • De-dead-end About/FAQ/Blog/policy pages with contextual CTAs; revive blog as shoppable guides.

Long-Term (This Year) — Strategic initiatives

  • Harden CSP; remove orphaned levo-ingest beacon; consolidate analytics.
  • Consider a mobile app only if retention data justifies it (90% mobile web may suffice).
  • Build a post-purchase email sequence (abandoned cart, review request, loyalty nudges) — currently unverifiable from frontend; confirm with a test order.

15. Mandatory Self-Check

CheckQuestionResult
FrictionDiagnosed via Fogg (Prompt→Ability→Motivation)?Yes — most friction is Ability (speed, broken add, missing discovery)
MobileAll recommendations tested on mobile?Yes — mobile treated as primary (89% traffic); perf + filter/sort + tap-target fixes called out
EthicsNo dark patterns / misleading urgency?Yes — recommendations avoid fake scarcity; urge genuine low-stock only
DataBacked by data/benchmarks?Yes — B2C/fashion benchmarks + CrUX + Lighthouse + page audits cited
PrioritizationPIE-prioritized?Yes — §9
LocalLocal payment methods accounted for?Yes — UPI/COD/NetBanking/Prepaid noted; GoKwik gate flagged for QA
AssumptionsSector/traffic/CVR assumptions explicit?Yes — below

Self-Check: Complete Assumptions:

  • D2C conversion ~1.5–2.5% and AOV ~₹800–1,500 inferred from fashion benchmarks + business-analysis pricing; not from the brand's own analytics (no access).
  • D2C GMV ~₹4–15 lakh/month is the business-analysis estimate, not a disclosed figure.
  • Mobile LCP field "needs improvement" (≈2.2–3.1s) from CrUX; lab LCP ~25.8s from local Lighthouse (page never idled on mobile).
  • Cart drawer line items, checkout form, guest flow, payment methods, and COD fee are unverified (closed shadow DOM + GoKwik iframe) and require real-device QA.
  • Email sequences (abandoned cart, post-purchase) are backend features — "unable to verify from frontend audit."
  • All page-level findings are synthesized from the pre-generated audits in pageaudit/; no new live traversals were performed in this master synthesis.

To validate:

  1. Real-browser QA of the full add-to-cart → cart → checkout path (PLP inline-add, Yotpo drawer sync, GoKwik guest gate, payment methods, COD handling fee).
  2. Shopify Analytics access to set true conversion/abandonment/AOV baselines before estimating revenue impact.
  3. Confirm the ADV discount tiers' exact thresholds and whether codes stack with auto-apply.
  4. Verify the correct WhatsApp number with the brand (the audit observed a mismatch; confirm intended value).
  5. Mobile visual QA (screenshots/device) — the audit tool rendered desktop-only with no screenshot capability.
