Gynoveda — Content Intelligence & Strategy

Prepared: 25 August 2026. Companion to business-analysis.md. Evidence: live site inspection, sitemap-0.xml (882 URLs), 6 full-article reads, schema audit, and 40 Serper (Google India) queries.

1. Executive Summary

The headline finding: Gynoveda already has a serious content engine — 159 blog posts, comparison hubs for 317 IVF-vs-Ayurveda pages, 261 clinic/doctor city pages, and 90 video success stories — yet its organic articles are not ranking. Across 40 high-intent queries tested against Google India, Gynoveda appeared in the top 10 only 6 times (15%), and every one of those 6 was a brand or clinic query (e.g. "gynoveda reviews", "best ayurvedic fertility clinic india"). For broad informational and commercial queries — the exact moments its content targets — it is invisible, losing consistently to IVF chains (IndiraIVF, Cloudnine, Birla Fertility), hospitals (Apollo, Max), and Ayurveda players (HIIMS, KeralaAyurveda, 1mg).

This is not a content-quantity problem. It is a content-ranking, entity, and AI-visibility problem. The opportunity is to (a) close the gap between the articles Gynoveda already publishes and the SERPs/AI answers it should own, (b) build genuine topical authority pillars that the IVF chains cannot match, and (c) engineer the site to be cited by ChatGPT/Perplexity/Google AI Overviews — where robots.txt is already open to every AI crawler.

Top 5 opportunities (priority order)

  1. Pillar authority, not post scatter. Consolidate 159 thin/medium posts into 5–6 authoritative pillar hubs (PCOS, Fertility, Periods, Intimate Health, Menopause, Ayurveda 101) with real link equity. This is the single highest-leverage fix and directly attacks the 85% ranking gap.
  2. Win the "IVF vs Ayurveda" comparison surface everywhere. Gynoveda owns the anti-IVF narrative and already ranks #3 for "IVF vs Ayurveda which is better." Make that hub the canonical answer and syndicate its claims to YouTube, Quora, and Reddit (Perplexity/Google AOs cite these).
  3. Close the bilingual gap deliberately. Gynoveda publishes in Hinglish + Hindi, but its highest-demand Hindi queries ("period kaise late kare", "pcos ke lakshan kya hain", "garbh dharan karne ke upay") are unranked. Build dedicated Hindi pillars rather than mixing languages per post.
  4. AEO/structured-data lift for AI citations. Schema is already strong (MedicalWebPage + FAQPage + BreadcrumbList + Author=Dr. Aarati Patil + MedicalOrganization). Extend to aggregateRating on product/comparison pages, HowTo, and a machine-readable llms.txt + pricing.md so AI agents quote real prices and success stats.
  5. Fix the funnel bridge. Articles end in generic "book a doctor" CTAs. Every cluster post should link to the matching product, the fertility test, and a city clinic — turning top-of-funnel content into clinic-bookings and D2C orders.

2. Client Context (applied)

3. Current Content Inventory (audited)

Sitemap: 882 URLs total — 159 blog posts, 317 compare-ivf-vs-ayurveda pages, 261 pages/* (clinics/doctors/calculators/tests), 125 success-stories, 11 compare-fertility-brands, plus home/resources/about.

Blog categories (159 posts):

CategoryPostsPosture
fertility63Strongest; deeply covers AMH, IUI, IVF cost, sperm, implantation
sexual-health40Discharge, periods, abortion, delay-periods — high-volume but generic
gynoveda (brand)19"does Gynoveda work / side effects / reviews" — defensive/trust content
pcos-pcod17Core; but losing to IndiraIVF/Apollo on the money queries
ayurveda9Thin; the brand's differentiator is under-built as a pillar
nutrition5PCOS diet chart exists; extendable
fitness5Yoga/weight-loss; extendable

Quality read (from 6 full reads): Posts are genuinely long (2,000–3,000+ words), medically structured (MedicalWebPage schema, cited studies, named author), and bilingual. They read like good content that should rank — which makes the ranking gap the puzzle to solve.

Schema audit (6 articles + homepage):

  • BreadcrumbList, MedicalWebPage, FAQPage on every sampled article
  • Author = Person (Dr. Aarati Patil) with credentials
  • dateModified present (freshness signal)
  • ✅ Homepage MedicalOrganization with founder Physician entity
  • ✅ robots.txt allows GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, Bingbot (no blocks) — GEO-ready
  • ⚠️ No aggregateRating/Review on blog/comparison pages; no HowTo; no llms.txt/pricing.md; no Speakable

4. Keyword Research & Demand Evidence

All data below is from live Serper (Google gl=in, hl=en) queries run 25 Aug 2026. Volume is shown as relative demand tier (High/Med/Low) inferred from SERP competition + related-query volume, not invented absolute numbers.

Reading the table: Gynoveda wins only when the searcher already types its name or the exact phrase "ayurvedic fertility clinic." Everywhere a new woman starts her journey ("PCOS treatment", "how to get pregnant with PCOS", "white discharge home remedy", "IVF cost India"), an IVF chain or hospital sits in the top 3. That is the demand Gynoveda's content is built for but not capturing.

4.2 Competitor gap (who outranks Gynoveda in top 10)

CompetitorTop-10 appearances (of 40)TypeWhy they win
indiraivf7IVF chainMassive programmatic SEO + city pages + "vs" content
birlafertility4IVF chainCity + cost + how-to hubs
apollo3HospitalEntity authority, E-E-A-T, doctor bylines

healthline3Health publisherDomain authority, clear FAQs
practo2MarketplaceLocal "near me" + reviews
hiims2Ayurveda competitorAyurveda-aligned (direct threat)
maxhealthcare / 1mg1 eachHospital / pharmaAuthority

Key gap: HIIMS is the only Ayurveda-native competitor ranking — and it is beating Gynoveda on "thyroid and pcos", "fallopian tube", "best ayurvedic fertility clinic". Gynoveda should out-authority an Ayurveda peer on its own turf.

5. Content Pillars & Cluster Architecture

Six pillars, mapped to Gynoveda's categories and the ranking gap. Each has a pillar page (2,500–3,500 words) + cluster posts + a defined internal-link spine to product/clinic/test.

Pillar A — PCOS & PCOD (the money pillar)

  • Pillar: "PCOS & PCOD: The Complete Ayurvedic Guide" (consolidates pcos-pcod category)
  • Cluster (examples): PCOD vs PCOS; Can PCOS be cured permanently?; PCOS treatment in Ayurveda; PCOS 3-month plan; PCOS weight-loss diet; PCOS symptoms in unmarried girls; Thyroid + PCOS; PCOS & hair loss; Best herbs for PCOS
  • Link spine: → /products/pcos-pcod (PCOS 3x Program) → fertility test → book clinic
  • Target gap: beat indiraivf/apollo on "PCOS vs PCOD", "PCOS treatment", "is PCOS curable"

Pillar B — Fertility & Conception (incl. male)

  • Pillar: "How to Get Pregnant Naturally: An Ayurvedic Fertility Roadmap"
  • Cluster: get pregnant with PCOS fast; AMH levels; egg quality; sperm count/foods; IUI vs Ayurveda; implantation; ovulation; blocked tube Ayurveda; low AMH
  • Link spine: → Boost Fertility (Jeehv) → fertility test → clinic
  • Target gap: beat indiraivf/hertility on "get pregnant with PCOS", "egg quality", "sperm count"

Pillar C — Periods & Menstrual Health

  • Pillar: "Irregular & Painful Periods: Ayurvedic Solutions"
  • Cluster: delayed periods; heavy flow; how to delay periods naturally; period blood clots; period pain relief; 10 reasons periods late; bilingual "period kaise late kare"
  • Link spine: → Tula (delayed) / Veera (heavy) → clinic
  • Target gap: beat maxhealthcare/cloudnine/pharmeasy on period queries

Pillar D — Intimate & Reproductive Health (sexual-health)

  • Pillar: "White Discharge, Intimate Health & Common Concerns — Explained"
  • Cluster: white discharge home remedy; brown/pink/watery discharge; yeast infection; itching; thread-like discharge
  • Link spine: → Soma (white discharge) → clinic
  • Target gap: beat apollo247/surya on "white discharge home remedy" (high volume)

Pillar E — Menopause & Life-Stage Wellness

  • Pillar: "Ayurvedic Menopause Support" (already ranks #1 for tablets — extend to hub)
  • Cluster: menopause symptoms; hot flashes; weight & menopause; postpartum hair fall (gap); perimenopause diet
  • Link spine: → Menopause tablets → clinic

Pillar F — Ayurveda 101 (the differentiator pillar — currently only 9 posts)

  • Pillar: "Ayurveda for Women's Health: Doshas, Herbs & Evidence"
  • Cluster: Vata/Pitta/Kapha; Ashwagandha vs Shatavari; Shatavari benefits; turmeric; Panchakarma; "how long does Ayurveda take"; is Ayurveda safe
  • Link spine: → editorial-policy / doctor consult
  • Target gap: out-authority HIIMS and generic Ayurveda blogs; this is Gynoveda's unique wedge vs IVF chains

Comparison / Commercial spine (already strong — amplify)

  • /compare-ivf-vs-ayurveda/ (ranks #3) → make canonical; add aggregateRating of success stories, fresh cost data, FAQ schema
  • City IVF-cost pages (317) → add "Ayurveda alternative" block + clinic CTA per city

6. Funnel Mapping (Eugene Schwartz awareness × funnel stage)

Awareness stageFunnelContent typeExample pieceCTA
UnawareTOFUSymptom/condition explainer"What is PCOS?" (Hindi + EN)Take fertility test
Problem-awareTOFU"Is this normal?""10 reasons your periods are late"Read pillar / test
Solution-awareMOFUAyurveda vs allopathy"IVF vs Ayurveda which is better"Book clinic consult
Product-awareBOFUProduct/brand proof"Gynoveda PCOS 3x — does it work"Shop PCOS 3x
Most-awareRetentionStories, dosage, community"Success story: conceived without IVF"Reorder / refer / Circle of Sisterhood

Ehrenberg-Bass alignment: Build mental availability through category-entry points (symptom phrases, "natural fertility", "no IVF"), not frequency. Distinctive brand assets already exist (Taapsee, "Good News pakki hai", FDA/NABL, doctor-cofounder) — repeat them in every cluster post's closing block so AI and humans both anchor on them.

7. Editorial Calendar (phased, 6 months)

Volume target: 12–16 posts/month (mostly consolidations + Hindi pillars + gap-fillers), not net-new scatter.

Phase 1 — Quick Wins (Month 1–2)

Consolidate + interlink existing posts into the 6 pillars; rewrite 10 underperforming titles to match query phrasing; add FAQ schema where missing; fix CTAs.

  • [ ] Pillar A draft (PCOS hub) + 8 cluster interlinks
  • [ ] Pillar C (Periods) + "white discharge home remedy" rewrite to beat apollo247
  • [ ] Add aggregateRating + fresh 2026 IVF-cost data to /compare-ivf-vs-ayurveda/
  • [ ] "is pcos curable permanently" (direct answer vs indiraivf)

Phase 2 — Cluster Anchors (Month 3–4)

  • [ ] Pillar B (Fertility roadmap) — target "get pregnant with PCOS fast"
  • [ ] Pillar F (Ayurveda 101) — target "how long does Ayurveda take", "Ashwagandha vs Shatavari"
  • [ ] Hindi pillars: "pcos ke lakshan", "period kaise late kare", "garbh dharan karne ke upay"
  • [ ] Open-gap posts: endometriosis Ayurveda, postpartum hair fall (zero competition)

Phase 3 — Supporting + Authority (Month 5–6)

  • [ ] Pillar D (Intimate health) hub; Pillar E (Menopause) hub
  • [ ] Expert bylines: Dr. Aarati Patil video + text on "why Ayurveda for fertility"
  • [ ] Guest/syndication: post comparison claims to Quora/Reddit/YouTube (Perplexity/Gemini cite these)

Ongoing (every month)

  • [ ] 2–3 success-story videos repurposed into blog + FAQ snippets
  • [ ] Refresh "IVF cost city-wise" with current numbers (seasonal: plan pre-Navratri/seasonal fertility pushes)
  • [ ] Monthly "people also ask" harvest from Search Console → add to FAQ schema

Seasonal hooks: International Women's Day (Mar), PCOS Awareness Month (Sep), Navratri (Oct — hormone/diet content), New Year resolutions (Jan — weight/PCOS).

8. AI SEO (AEO / GEO) Recommendations

Gynoveda is GEO-ready (robots.txt open to all AI bots; strong MedicalWebPage/FAQ schema; named clinical author). To convert that into citations:

8.1 Structure (extractable)

For every pillar/cluster post add:

  • Definition block (40–60 words) as the first paragraph answering "What is X?"
  • Step-by-step block for "how to" queries (numbered, atomic)
  • Comparison table for any "X vs Y" (IVF vs Ayurveda, Ashwagandha vs Shatavari)
  • FAQ block (already present on most — extend to 8–10 Qs matching People-Also-Ask)
  • Statistic block with cited source (e.g. "PCOS affects ~1 in 10 women — WHO")

8.2 Authority (citable) — Princeton GEO boosts

  • Add cited studies (already partly done — expand; +40% citation lift)
  • Add named expert quotes: Dr. Aarati Patil, Vishal Gupta (founder) — (+30%)
  • Add specific statistics with dates: "20,000 couples became parents", "4.7★ / 27,433 reviews" — (+37%)
  • Keep author bios + last-updated date visible (already present)
  • Avoid keyword stuffing (–10%)

8.3 Presence (be where AI looks)

  • Wikipedia: pursue a neutral "Gynoveda" entity mention (7.8% of ChatGPT citations are Wikipedia)
  • Reddit/Quora: seed genuine "IVF vs Ayurveda" answers linking to the canonical hub (not spam — real participation)
  • YouTube: 78K subs / 793 videos — transcribe + embed in pillars (Google AOs cite YouTube)
  • Machine-readable files (see 8.4)

8.4 Machine-readable files to publish

  • /llms.txt — site map + pillar summaries for AI agents (llmstxt.org spec)
  • /pricing.md — exact INR pricing per SKU + per-tablet cost (from pricing-data.csv) so agents quote real numbers
  • /agents.md — brand facts: founder, FDA/NABL, 20K pregnancies, "no IVF" stance, clinician credentials

8.5 Schema strategy (extend current)

Page typeAdd schema
Pillar/cluster postsArticle + FAQPage + MedicalWebPage (have) + HowTo for process posts
Comparison/IVF pagesFAQPage + ItemList + aggregateRating (success-story count)
Product pagesProduct + aggregateRating + Offer + BreadcrumbList
Clinic/city pagesMedicalClinic + LocalBusiness + BreadcrumbList
HomepageMedicalOrganization (have) + Speakable

8.6 Platform-specific

  • Google AI Overviews: E-E-A-T + FAQ schema + cited sources (strengthen author bios)
  • ChatGPT: freshness (update monthly) + match response format (direct answers)
  • Perplexity: FAQPage + atomic paragraphs + PDF/resource hub
  • Gemini: Google index + entity (pursue Wikipedia/Knowledge Graph)
  • Claude: factual density + Brave Search visibility (verify Brave indexes gynoveda.com)
  • Copilot: Bing index + sub-2s mobile LCP (CrUX LCP ~1.7s already good)

8.7 AI Visibility self-audit checklist (per pillar)

  • [ ] Definition in first paragraph
  • [ ] Self-contained 40–60 word answer blocks
  • [ ] Statistics with cited sources
  • [ ] Comparison table for X-vs-Y
  • [ ] FAQ (8–10 Qs) with FAQPage schema
  • [ ] Author name + credentials visible
  • [ ] Last-updated date
  • [ ] H2/H3 match query phrasing
  • [ ] AI bots allowed (✅ robots.txt)
  • [ ] Mobile LCP < 2s (✅ ~1.7s)
  • [ ] Visible pricing (add to pillars via /pricing.md link)
  • [ ] Working policy/support links (✅ returns/refunds, FAQs live)

9. Competitor Content Gap — What They Have That Gynoveda Should Mirror

  1. IndiraIVF/Cloudnine/Birla — programmatic city + cost + "how-to" hubs with doctor bylines. Gynoveda has city pages but they're clinic-locator thin; enrich with cost-comparison + Ayurveda alternative.
  2. HIIMS — Ayurveda-native authority beating Gynoveda on thyroid/PCOS, fallopian tube, clinic queries. Build Pillar F (Ayurveda 101) + "best ayurvedic fertility clinic" content to reclaim turf.
  3. Healthline/ClevelandClinic — ultra-clear FAQ/definition blocks. Gynoveda has FAQs but should lead every section with a direct answer (AI-extraction rule).
  4. 1mg — herb monographs (Shatavari, Ashwagandha). Gynoveda should own herb-vs-herb comparisons ("Shatavari vs Ashwagandha") — already ranks #9, push to #1.
